Southsea Coastal Scheme shortlisted in The Planning Awards
We’re delighted to share that the Southsea Coastal Scheme has been shortlisted in The Planning Awards.
For 12 years these awards have showcased the outstanding work across the planning and placemaking sectors.
The project has been shortlisted in the Best Use of Heritage in Placemaking Award for its work to protect and improve heritage assets, in particular the two nationally important Scheduled Monuments situated within Sub-Frontages 1(Long Curtain Moat) and 4 (Southsea Castle). The design has seen significant improvements in terms of their historic fabric condition, their settings and their legibility, creating distinctive destinations in their own right rather than places to pass by.
The awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday 11 June 2025 in London. We wish the team the best of luck!
