New Wear Footbridge team attend National Constructing Excellence Awards

Earlier this year, the team attended the regional North East, awards ceremony where they won the Innovation Award. The award recognised the complexity of the temporary works the team undertook to enable the piling operation for the bridge.

The team has now progressed to the national awards, bringing together all the regional finalists and showcasing excellence in the built environment across England and Wales. We wish the team the best of luck.
