Our team working on the New Wear Footbridge project recently volunteered at Castletown Methodist Church and planted 8,000 daffodil and crocus bulbs.
Castletown Methodist Church is located in Castletown, Sunderland and are a haven in their local community. The Church often host events for residents such as Citizens' Advice sessions, harvest festivals, remembrance services, and social events.
Together with our partners Ecofficiency and DTMS, the team were able to make this possible, this initiative not only ensures a beautiful environment for the Castletown area, but also provides support to the local bee and insect populations.
We look forward to seeing the flowers bloom early next year!
