Colleagues across VolkerStevin recently hosted MacMillan coffee mornings to help raise money and awareness of the charity.
Teams got together for a brew and a chat and to enjoy a selection of delicious cakes. Other activities included guess what’s in the box, a darts tournament, coffee quizzes and plenty of bake sales. Some of our project teams were also joined by people from their local communities.
A great morning was had by all with a total of £644 raised. Thank you to our bakers for their tasty creations and thank you to all who donated.
The Macmillan Coffee Morning is an annual fundraising event run by Macmillan Cancer Support where people across the UK host and attend coffee mornings in aid of Macmillan. Since 1990 it has raised over £310 million for Macmillan.
