Glossop WwTW make donation to local charity

The Glossop Wastewater Treatment Works (WwTW) were recently awarded £500 from our community giving pot to donate to the Glossop Mountain Rescue team.

Our community giving pot allows employees to apply for funding to support charities and fundraising events important to them personally. The pot allows us to support a wide range of grassroot clubs and charities as well as supporting our employees participating in local or national events.

The Glossop Mountain Rescue team provide a rescue service in the Peak District National Park, the rescue team deal with incidents both on the hills and within the community of Glossopdale, where our Glossop project is based.
