Our team working on the Leigh Flood Barrier, in Kent, recently held a ‘cook out speak out’ event.
The event was to encourage the team to speak out about mental health and to create an open and safe environment for them to share their own experiences.
Throughout the day the site team and a number of our subcontractors discussed a range of topics and shared ideas and suggestions of how they could improve site safety. The team also cooked a BBQ during the day, which was enjoyed by all, despite the rain!
