Southsea motivates young minds to pursue engineering careers
The Southsea Coastal Scheme team recently joined Havant & South Downs College (HSDC) for their annual Careers Fair.
Hosted at the colleges Havant, South Downs and Alton campuses, the fair provided a chance for students to be introduced to a variety of both regional and national businesses.
The team showcased their interactive wave tank, offering a hands-on demonstration of how different sea defences function. They also shared valuable insights into the cutting-edge engineering taking place in Southsea. Engaging with the students, the team sparked discussions about the wide range of career paths within engineering.
It was fantastic to witness the enthusiasm from young minds, hopefully inspiring the next generation of engineers!
