Southsea Coastal Scheme team inspires future careers at Havant and South Downs College
The Southsea Coastal Scheme team recently took to the stage at Havant and South Downs College’s Green & Sustainability Careers Week.
The team highlighted the innovative approach of the Southsea project, which goes beyond protecting our coastlines by incorporating sustainable practices. From eco-friendly concrete to habitat restoration and seawall construction, the project demonstrates a strong commitment to environmental responsibility.
Over 70 students attended, giving the team the perfect chance to highlight the wide variety of career opportunities available in the construction and sustainability sectors. Whether it’s project management, engineering, communications, or construction, there’s a path for everyone passionate about making a real difference.
It was a fantastic opportunity to inspire the next generation, with students enthusiastic about the chance to take on roles that protect our coastline and communities for the future.
