Last week the New Wear Footbridge team attended two careers fairs in the north east.
The team met with students and provided valuable information about the opportunities available at VolkerStevin.
The team attended the access fair at Newcastle University which is open to stage 2 civil engineering students, Science, Agriculture & Engineering (SAgE) students and local secondary students in the area. They also attended Northumbria University’s Built Environment careers fair, open to quantity surveying, building surveying, and real estate students.
There were approximately 3,000 students in attendance across the two careers fairs and the team received a lot of interest regarding placements, graduate roles, our graduate scheme and questions about what it is like to work at VolkerStevin.
