Yesterday, the Catterall footbridge project team welcomed local MP Cat Smith and the Parish Council for a special visit to see the progress on the project, which will enhance flood resilience for St Michaels on Wyre and surrounding areas.
Following an overview of the project, they headed out on-site to see firsthand the progress being made, including the newly installed footbridge that replaces the outdated timber structure.
The Parish Council praised the project team, commenting: “The team have been tremendous throughout the works and the regular communication has been fantastic.”
The visit highlighted the ongoing collaboration between local authorities, communities, contractors and agencies, all working together to deliver a project that will benefit everyone in the area.
