Macclesfield WwTW hold a community engagement session

Following commencement of construction on the new Mobile Organic Biofilm (MOB) tanks at Macclesfield Wastewater Treatment Works (WwTW), the C2V team held an engagement session for the local community.

The session was held at a local village hall, in Prestbury, the team invited local residents to the session to learn more about the ongoing works at Macclesfield. The project team explained to attendees how the water was previously treated and how the new equipment will provide a much better standard of treatment, they also gave further details on the MOB process and new inlet.

The residents were extremely impressed with the progress the team have made so far and were happy to hear about the improved equipment which is being installed to improve the quality of their water.
