Inspiring future engineers at Flying Bull Academy
Some of the team working on the Southsea Coastal Scheme recently brought their expertise to the classroom at Flying Bull Academy Primary School, engaging with a group of Year 6 students.
With a hands-on wave tank demonstration, they revealed the power of the sea and the science behind coastal defences, showing how different barriers protect our shores and the unique benefits of each design. The interactive session had students captivated, sparking questions and excitement about coastal engineering.
It was great to see young minds so interested in the scheme and the team have hopefully inspired some future engineers!
