Park Live! Olympic Park
Star Events were contracted to provide and install two large video screens, on gantries over water, with a corporate entertainment facility inside the structure between the screens however the only access to this work was via the waterway within the Olympic Park.
VolkerMarine Services supplied the marine equipment, including mobilisation and demobilisation, to enable Star Events to satisfactorily carry out the work from the nearest available road access.
The VolkerMarine Services marine equipment consisted of:
- 1 x 6 Linkflote pontoon crane barge
- 1 x 6 Linkflote pontoon materials barge
- 1 x 24 Linkflote pontoon barge for erecting the gantries, screens etc.
- 1 Schottle boat to manoeuvre barges
