VolkerSite Services commission site for Southern Renewals Enterprise
The VolkerSite Services team were recently approached by Southern Renewals Enterprise, to help commission one of their sites to ensure it is useable for the workforce.
Portable drainage macerator pump
There was an existing setup but without waste and water connections. A waste facility was required on site, however it wasn’t possible to bury a septic tank in the ground which would allow gravitational fall from the waste outlet. The VolkerSite Services team came up with a solution which was to use a macerator pump and provide a 2,200 gallon septic tank. The portable drainage macerator pump used by the team has the ability to pump waste up to 600m away and 15m high to a manhole or septic tank. It can also be used without gravitational fall so it is unnecessary to raise foundations or bury septic tanks on site, making it the ideal solution for this project. The tank is emptied, as required, by a waste tanker.
