Spreading festive cheer in our communities

What an incredible couple of weeks it’s been for our project teams as they've come together to spread kindness and festive cheer in the communities we work in.

First up, a huge shoutout to our amazing team at Kendal for raising money for North West Air Ambulance during Christmas Jumper Day! A massive thank you to everyone who donated and got involved.

Over in Littleborough, the team got into the festive spirit by wearing Christmas jumpers to raise funds for food supplies for local Foodbanks in Rochdale. Not only did the team raise money to support the Rochdale Petrus Hub and Rochdale Foodbank, but they also donated warm coats, new sleeping bags, and a box of food to help those in need.

Our Macclesfield team continued with the festive spirit supporting the Salvation Army Christmas gift appeal and local Foodbank, Silk Life, with donations of toiletries and tins of food, which will go a long way to providing support to vulnerable people and families in Macclesfield.

Finally, the Kendal team visits to local Kendal churches were a heartwarming success! The team brought along boxes of mince pies to share with parishioners, providing a chance to connect and update people on the ongoing works of the Kendal Flood Risk Management Scheme. A wonderful way to engage with the local community over a cup of coffee and a festive treat.

Here’s to continuing our mission of spreading goodwill and making a positive impact in the communities we serve!
