Some of our team at the Southsea Coastal Scheme recently visited the U3A, University of The Third Age, Portsmouth group to speak to them about the project and the North Portsea Coastal Scheme.
U3A is a UK-wide movement of over 1,000 charities that create the opportunity for members to come together to share skills and learn for fun. The group run local and online member-led learning, for those who are retired or semi-retired. U3A helps to keep members active, in a fun and creative way.
All members live locally to both schemes so were eager to hear about what’s happening on their doorstep.
