Preston and South Ribble Flood Risk Management Scheme welcome students from the University of Central Lancashire

The students were given a presentation from our senior project manager and senior engineer, on the history of flooding in the area, the need to replace existing defences, and the innovative solutions being implemented to enhance flood resilience in Preston & South Ribble.

This was followed by a site tour with our section engineer showcasing the progress made so far.

The team has received great feedback from the students who found their visit informative and beneficial, gaining valuable insights into flood management projects.
