A day of insight, innovation, and networking at the GM Green Summit
Earlier this week VolkerStevin attended and exhibited at the GM Green Summit in Salford.
Hosted by the Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham, the annual event sees delegates meet and network with others determined to drive change and help the city-region meet its ambitious goals for the environment, with panels, workshops, networking and exhibition stands showcasing challenges, solutions and opportunities.
Our exhibition stand gave the team the opportunity to connect with individuals from many industries and businesses, each with their own unique perspectives on how we can build a better future for Greater Manchester.
The team had the opportunity to welcome Alan Lovell, Chair of the Environment Agency, to the stand, where he praised and recognised the fantastic work being carried out by the VolkerStevin team on the Rochdale and Littleborough Flood Risk Management Scheme. This visit not only provided recognition of the project’s importance but also served as a powerful reminder of how collaborative efforts can drive meaningful progress in the region.
The day was a great success and a fantastic opportunity to strengthen existing relationships and forge new connections, all while contributing to the exciting future of Greater Manchester.
