VolkerGround Engineering support rebuild of damaged flood risk assets in Brighton
Our piling specialists, VolkerGround Engineering, has been assisting VolkerStevin with the re-build of damaged flood risk management assets in Brighton. Using their TM13/16SL leader rig, the team installed a 60 linear metre steel sheet piled wall at the Hove Deep Sea Anglers Club.
VolkerGround Engineering implemented a number of vibration mitigation measures, such as the use of clutch driving aids to reduce the clutch friction and also pre-augering the ground to loosen the soil, thereby minimising the impact on the surrounding structures and the environment.
