The C2V team, working on behalf of United Utilities, has recently installed a new pipeline at the Chapel-en-le-Frith Wastewater Treatment Works (WwTW), the new pipeline has replaced and upgraded the existing incoming sewer pipe and increased the flow into the WwTW.
Originally, when delivered from the manufacturers the new pipe was red, after listening to concerns of local residents the pipe was later painted black so that it was more fitting with its surroundings. The team also dismantled and removed the old pipe and planted trees in the area.
We look forward to sharing future updates on this work and the wider projects we’re undertaking with United Utilities right across the North West which will be part of the largest upgrade of the infrastructure for a century.
