Concrete artist at our Preston and South Ribble Flood Risk Management Scheme

A concrete artist has been working on a 30-metre section of the in-situ concrete flood wall located between Penwortham Old Bridge and Gas Pipe Bridge, at our Preston and South Ribble Flood Risk Management Scheme.

Aidan Douglas, who specialises in creating artificial replica stonework, has been working on the concrete flood wall which, once finished, will replicate the original stonework of the two bridges. The replica stonework will also be painted to blend in with the surrounding stone.
